That would be awesome! I think they would increase that soon.
the ability to carry LOTS more stuff while driving the motorcycle is already there 
maybe you will be able to put the backpack on while getting on the motorcycle & but will take the backpack off when getting off the motorcycle, the same way people only put helmets on when getting on motorcycle animation thing

With dev tools you can even see an option for a backpack slot on the character, with the backpack icon. the player even turns around to expose the back to make backpack customization easier to see.

are people wanting more Carry Space or is it the Clothing Backpacks people want, confused, Because a Backpack clothing item is no different than the other clothing items, and the Backpacks themselves don’t carry more, it’s not the real world, backpack cosmetics are sometimes nice to look at though, 
I sometimes forget myself, not the real world, Backpacks don’t work that way in the real world, Semla & that much sugar, and still able to walk around like supa heros, pants help jump boost, unless there Kobe Bryant Shorts, shoes & jump, lol lol lol
Not just a cosmetic, but a rework of how carry weight can be improved.
Remove the skills for that and add backpacks of different sizes that can be found in the world or by loot.
Additionally there could be backpacks with certain abilities, but less additional carry weight, like a mobile field radio (as a constant spawn point for team members), a mobile jammer, a mobile first aid station and so on.
Or think of a changed weapon wheel with just 4 slots in general and backpacks giving you additional slots, too (up to the 8 we currently have, depending on the type and size of the backpack).
When I started this game I came upon a gas bottle. I thought, I won’t pick that up - I couldn’t even run carrying that! Now you want to carry 300 kilos! What?
Full load out with Bergen in the Royal Marines, we carried about 60kg. And even then you’d drop the Bergen to fight! Side panniers for the motorcycle might work.
My next playthrough will be with what I think a teenager could carry - assault rifle, pistol back-up, (collapsible) bow and FRG grenade launcher, plus ammo. That you could carry…
If it were down to me you’d have plundras all over the map, but they’d only have what you put into them, and you’d have to get back there to pick it up again. So you’d have all the weapons, if only you could remember where you’d left them! 
If you had a back pack, you could fill it to capacity, and carry it (slowly) to your chosen battle site, but you’d have to drop it to fight. But we realists have always been outshouted by the shoot-em-ups! Shame, 'cos for me we’ve ended up with less than we started with…

As far as Google told me, it’s some kind of military backpack.
we need a free drivable vehicle that has the plundra, recycling station, ammo station and people will forget about the backpack with more space, 
don’t get me wrong, I personally really like the flak-moped with the plundra, recycling, ammo in there, I bought it, However, we need something else that also has the them in there, so all people can enjoy carrying there plundra with them, just my opinion anyway
in multiplayer, always driving my flak moped with plundra & multiplayer peoples also using my flak moped plundra 
and I can’t drive away until there done with the plundra, and that don’t have there own drivable plundra
just a single free $0.00 download, just 1 vehicle with plundra, recycling station & ammo, just one small, very small dlc vehicle
Or not an additional vehicle, but a new module for the companion…
But this topic is about introducing backpacks in a senseful or cool was, not about giving more options for the stations that we already have at more than 100 places plus a driveable station DLC (Flak Moped).
