No it’s not there. I just been to Lennard’s Marin and I can’t find a body with a small backpack there.

Pity, it would’ve been nice if you knew a second location of such a backpack. There are several large backpack to be found in the game.

I’ve seen a few bodies with backpacks in the past, but I can’t remember where. I remember 1 body was at the coastline in the sand. I also remember seeing a huge backpack, almost 3 times the size of the regular ones, somewhere in the forest. I’ll have to try to find them again and post the pictures.

I know where the big ones are. I have them marked on my Memory Map. I know 5 of them and 1 small backpack. None of them are in the sand. So that’s one I’d like to find.

Edit : Found one. So now I know 2 bodies with small backpacks. This one was not on a coastline, but on the shore of a river. Maybe that’s the one you meant.

Ah yes! You are right! It was by a river, not on the coastline. It has to be the same one I saw.

The Bergen was a Nordick rucksack. Before that you only had Big Packs, which was just a canvas sack that strapped onto your webbing. Then came the first real rucksack - the Bergen! It had quick release tabs that meant if you were bumped you could pull them and it would drop straight off your back. It had shoulder straps and was fixed onto a metal A-frame with a curved pad which rested on the lumbar region, just above the belt. Oh the joy of a Bergen, after the horrible packs that went before!

they need to add more vichals or backpaks because how am i ment to hold all of the stuff i need if its to heavy

They won’t add anything any more.
The last update just was delivered.

  • You can upgrade skills for being able to carry more,
  • You can store stuff in the plundra (upgradeable)
  • you can recycle stuff at the recycling station (upgradeable)
  • the companion, as soon as you have them, can also carry about 32kg
  • with the vehicle DLC for flakmopeds you can have a flakmoped with all necessary stations aboard.
  • most important: you don’t have to pick up everything and you don’t need every weapon. Chose your prefered setup.

What a bad timing to get the game :confused: .
Well they are not going to give us new stuff, we will be very lucky if they patch most of the more annoying bugs.
To be honest they changed the weight system, we could walk normaly till 112 kg, now its till 96 and you will transform in a 80 year old man.

But now we can walk even if we carry 500kg. Not far, but we can. Before the last update, from 112.01 kg on we weren’t able to move anymore. No fast travel, nothing.
Now we can still move and use fast travel if we’re overencumbered.

It’s not that I like it more now, but I got used to it.

Its a really fun game, I suggest just carrying a couple of weapons and if you have the flakmoped pack using the one with the recycling station if you struggle with weight.

Imho 8 is enough as you are free to choose what you want to have in there.

Would have been nice to have separate keys for gas mask and maybe binoculars though… :man_shrugging:
