What games besides GZ do you like playing?

Its the normal “High price” dont buy it.
I have all of them since Far cry 3.
Get the gold/complete editions of them when on sale (i honestly dont think the “LOST BETWEEN WORLDS” is worth it,).
Dont waste money on full price, you can get them really cheap when on sale.
I got Far cry 3 and Blood dragon for 15 euros, Far cry 4 for 5 or 9 euros, Far cry 5 with all dlc for 19 or 25 euros.
Got Far cry 6 disk version on sale for 19 euros and all the villains DLC for 15 euros in some sort of pack.
Anything above is not worth it unless the game is really AMAZING (which they are not, just good and fun) or if you are crazy :upside_down_face: .

This is a community side topic, we dont have to talk about GZ here all the time.

Right, thank you for this.

Actually, it’s the same thing over and over again with games - I know.

Just watched the trailer and to be honest - too much action/agression i.m.h.o.

Besides that; I think you’ve been really busy with the best buying options. That’s ‘relative effort’.
Good job, but not for everybody

I’ve been primarily playing Generation Zero but have been playing other games like the Just Cause series, The Long Dark, and occasionally some Far Cry 5. I love them all but GZ has a special place in my heart for good reason.

Primarily it’s an open world game that allows you to choose anything after the initial tutorial. It reminds me of when I first got Far Cry 5 when I realized that not a lot of open world games have a rich and consistent story line like GZ’s and even has lore and secrets to boot.

I really hope the team will add on to the story in the coming future, and I will be trying out the new update when it comes out. Thank you for your time.

Glory To the Resistance, Comrades…

Exactly! That’s the core of the attraction of this game (for me).

(I regret to inform you all that my GZ Disc has cracked and is no longer playable. I’m hoping that I will be able to play GZ again somewhere after Christmas. I will still visit the forum but I won’t be able to list bugs/glitches for some time. :frowning:

How did that happen?
Blue ray disks are stronger than DVDs and CDroms

You can look for disk versions online, at used game stores and maybe lost in some less popular or hidden stores.

I’m not sure, I woke up this morning and put GZ into my PS4 and said it cannot read the disc, so I thought it was just dirty and smudged but when I looked at the disc i saw this decent sized straight crack.

It’s a really old disc, I bought GZ back in Late 2019 during a Black Friday Giveaway Sale at a nearby closing GameStop

And obviously you missed that GZ was in PSPlus in september, or you don’t even have PSPlus… Otherwise you wouldn’t need the disc anymore.

old??
I still have working discs for the PS2 …now that is old!

Did you bought the game brand new at the time?
Might even have to do with extreme heat(inside PS4) or extreme cold (outside environment).

Ghost Recon Wildlands & Generation Zero are my top 2, I’m back and forth with daily Assignments & Challenges

you mention PS2  I still got some games for that, Resident Evil 4, Super Puzzle Fighter 2, Code Breakers, GameShark, just wish my PS4 was backwards compatible

I still have my first original Playstation game.

Two cool fun facts about it:

  1. If you got an installation of GTA for PC, too, you were able to play it with the playstation disc.
  2. If you put the playstation disc into a music disc player, you could hear all the GTA radio tracks.

Last game I have been playing beside Generation Zero, was Robocop: Rogue City. It was quite a different gameplay than I had anticipated, but it grew on me, so I quite liked it.

Quick Question: does anyone here play or know of a survival game called “The Long Dark” and if so how long?. TLD might be a top favorite game above GZ. Maybe a break from GZ will do me some good.

(Note: I may be able to play GZ sometime in January or February bc I’ve been trying to save up money to purchase a next-generation console.
I know I said that I didn’t have enough money to buy another GZ, because I’m trying not to spend all the money in my savings account. I usually get 50 To 100 dollars at both Christmas and my Birthday, so here’s hoping I’ll find a cheap series x next year.)

I don’t know TLD, but I often saw that there were YouTube Videos from NeebsGaming about it… I followed NeebsGaming a while when they did quite enjoying videos about GZ, too.

Maybe you could watch them for some impressions, too.

Just watched a trailer of TLD. I’m afraid to be graphically spoiled by the work of Avalanche studios.

Yet to come: Contraband. Pretty sure I’m going to buy this game too. Also an open world, great graphics and story, as far as I can conclude.

Didn’t know about their Hunter series. Seems very nice too.

I’ve played The Long Dark for quite a while. It’s enjoyable if you like true survival games. The difficulty is highly customizable, but the default can be a challange. The only enemies you face are wolves, bears, and the cold. Resources are scarce and every decision you make has the potential to kill you. The downside is that it’s a bit of a grind. You’ll spend nights mending clothes, and drying out animal guts for bow strings, or thawing out fish for breakfast. There’s a lot to explore once youve nailed the survival aspect. I would definitely reccomend it if you like a challenge.

I have Both GZ and Call of the Wild which were my best games to play after school got out.

I take breaks to allow the system to cool down but back then I must’ve played both for 6-8 Hours with only pausing for using the restroom and eating dinner.

I must admit that before TLD, there wasn’t a single survival game that peaked my interests.

(Subnautica, DayZ, The Forest,etc)

They seemed good but my mind was on actual survival against Mother Nature herself, not post-apocalyptic or other-worldly settings.
