I’ve got good news, I am able to play GZ again but I’m now on Xbox series S, not PS4. It feels a lot better on a newer console.
Watch your back “FNIX”,
‘Cause I’m coming for you!
WITH A VENGEANCE!!!

I just hope for you that it will stay as it is now, because many reports about crashes and performance issues came from series s, too.
Clearing the cache from time to time may help:
How to clear cache on Xbox series S/X
Btw I just read that it’s possible to accidently install a game twice on Xbox series. This needs much space and may cause issues with safegame files. (Because you maybe run your 2nd installation, but your old safegame files are saved to the folders of the first installation.
Dead Island and stalker are my favorite
Stalker 2 is coming…
Have you tried Dead Island 2 yet?
how do I clear cache on my PS4, maybe that’s the reason why I keep getting problems on my save file, didn’t know anything about this & didn’t read manual before playing games on the PS4 why does the PS4 have to be more complex than a Super Nintendo, the SNES didn’t have things called cache files
I’m currently playing teardown. Anyone else?
It’s so satisfying to destroy the levels and see everything burning down. Great graphics, great physics, although it’s just voxels.
I’m planning on getting Teardown during sales near Christmas, but I will have a lot of games to play in 2024, I am also hyped about the release of the GTA 6 Trailer. I can’t wait until 2025, it will be nostalgic for me!
Besides Generation Zero I have been playing this other game that also has creatures that are called Ticks. The game is an over the top and very bloody West vs Vampires shooter and is called “Evil West”. I enjoyed this game very much.
Do you know it?
Yeah, I played it for about an hour last month.
Very linear so far. Not bad, but not really what I was looking for…at least alone. I must someday try it in coop.
Played on PS5.
Evil West is a good underrated game yes, i liked it.
@Madchaser Teardown was free for PS plus members, dont remember if it was Extra or premium tier, its interesting, its a shame since the Red faction and Mercenaries series they quit making games where you can destroy buildings and stuff .(Yes there is Battlefield but its mostly PVP)
I went back to No Mans sky, always a relaxing experience and…I played a PS2 classic Gem and one of the few that actually had very good graphics for the time(2003).
Its fun and interesting, the controls are however a bit outdated.
Its now available for the PS4/PS5.
Ghosthunter
Have you tried Just cause 4, it has a lot of environmental destruction?
I tried it for a very short time.
Although it looked very promising, especially because of the weather, it didn’t convice me so much as Just cause 3 for example did.
It wasn’t that smooth, the aiming felt… somehow strange. Idk, maybe it’s now better due to updates.
Besides GZ, i like playing (mainly):
Destiny 2
Garou: Mark of the Wolves
Also, ive been playing The First Descendant for the passed few days. It’s not bad for a free game.
I have Just Cause 3 & 4, they are very fun but the thing is, you can only destroy what the game wants you to destroy, not every building.
When you can destroy 99% of every structure in Mercenaries 1&2 games, Red faction Guerrilla and Destroy all Humans if im not mistaken.
Oh, you’ve been able to do massive destruction even in Red faction 1 from 2001, but not in an open world.
Another game with this kind of destruction (terrain) is No Man’s Sky.
I recently used some of my PS Stars Credits to buy this game. I’ve currently been playing about 20h and it’s really interesting.
Of course, not to compare with GZ, but there are many interesting features.
super mario world is another good one
Been a little while since i commented in this thread, had a shift in games i play actively and from time to time. Thought i’d comment the current ones.
Games Actively Played:
Ghost Recon Breakpoint
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas 2
World of Tanks Blitz
Call of Duty Black Ops 3
Dying Light 2
Genshin Impact
Zenless Zone Zero
Games from time to time:
Insurgency Sandstorm
Grounded
Aliens Vs Predator (2010)
Honkai: Star Rail
Ghost Recon Future Soldier
Starship Troopers Extermination
Phasmophobia
Deep Rock Galactic
A bunch of the Time to time games are mostly just when they get updated, if i feel like playing them or if i experience a bit of boredom with everything else. Future Soldier i only play time to time as i plan to revisit it to play on Higher difficulties. I also plan to revisit some games like Ghost Recon Wildlands, for the Ghost mode, and other games for any difficulties like that.
