What type of dead body you find the most interesting?

What type of dead body you find the most interesting qua placing / storytelling, and can you give examples?

  • The type that is not in plain sight.
  • The type that led you to it by following a trail.
  • The type that is a specific person (they have a name).
  • The type that is displayed funny or dramatically
  • The ones that are members of the Iron Church.
  • The type that has something special (not loot)

I like Many but for an Funny display Example, I like the resistance fighter inside at Sunnanvall, where you first are attacked by ticks, and then are to find a lot of footballs. The whole atmosphere with red lights blinking is eerie.

I voted for three. the Hidden ones are my favorite. Like the one underneath the porch at the seaside Inn I forget the name.

I often look at bodies and wonder if some of them are Iron Church, but how can we know?

Especially the hidden ones!

This poor man must have met a horrible death when his killers bricked him into the wall when the houses in Himarvet were being built. (or the devs were just lazy because I reported this years ago when Alpine Unrest was released in 2019).
Or it’s another serial killer, because there are more.

I kind of like this one. Guy probably tried to escape the fire, and got shot before he could climb down.

We don’t have hard Lore facts to identify Iron Church members.

  • We know that they have a lot of Police officers as members, but we don’t know if all the police have joined their faction.

  • The Iron Church members like to show off their fitness and train with Iron weights, which happen to bare the same name as the Faction. So we might assume that these specific weights are specially made and are for members only. If that’s the case, then where ever we find these weights they must belong to an Iron Church member.

  • Lately we seen other elements that might identity them. For instance the wooden wall we see in their recrutement center in Haga, we also see in Kaptensvillan. Just saying.

I consider the dead Soldiers and dead Militia civilians “Dramatically” dead, but i believe it deserved its own Category " Dead bodies in combat zones"
However now seems to be too late for that.

Yes, it’s too late for that, but you can still show some examples of some combat bodies you like best. The topic is really about the community posting their favorite placements.

Here one of the type that has something special. The newspaper guy.

What a shitty morning!
Going up at late night to deliver the newspapers and meet some killer machines that’s going nuts.

What a morbid thread, haha

I do enjoy to see the ones posed awkwardly or in situations that make you stop and go “huh”.

Many of the revamped areas have little points of interest where you can find such situations.

Or getting shot while on a hike and taking your last rest at a wind shelter.

when there were no dead bodies :alien: when the game first came out, and the rumors of aliens abduction might have been some of the causes for missing people’s, anyone remember those 2019 days, still and interesting idea, lol

I like to see an example of what situation you remember most vividly. :coffee:

In the category “Following a trail to find a body”, we have: The driver of the tipped truck west of the Saltholmen church. If we follow the blood trail we find it ends on the pier, and with a bit of luck, depending on the weather and time of day, we can see the driver on the bottom of Hinzevik bay.

This time it was to dark and I could not see the body, unless I jumped in…

In the same category as the previous one, we find that Shiva Elsa Khorsandi was not the only Pilot who survived a crash with their Vraken. The pilot in this case also made it out the jet alive, but he got cornered by Runners on the cliffside south-west of Källviken and with no way out he was shot. We can follow his blood trail downward on the rocks from where he fell down the cliff.

If you squint your right eye to switch to Eagle vision mode, you can see the Pilot on the bottom. Click here.

In the Category “the type that have something special”…

On this beautiful overlook we find two people dead who were camping there. How these two died is kind of a mystery now. There is no evidence that they were not shot, no blood trail, nor wounds. I vaguely remember that they had a bottle with them when I first discovered them, but I haven’t found a photo of that. Now the bottle is no longer there. Presumably they decided that they didn’t want live in this world where all their friends and family are being abducted or killed.

Can anybody confirm there was a bottle with them. Because then the story fits.

Somewhere in GZ when you were doing quests and sidequests and roaming around looking for clues there was something about a suicide, either on answering machine or a letter/note.
But, I don’t remember if it was this couple or the one in Farmlands, on the mountain top south of Stentorpet / east of the mine?

First of all cool for showing interest in the lore. The two girls on Hackeberget mountain were part of a party at vastra mark. Then something disturbed that party and the party-goers scattered, some may have escaped, but at least three fled towards the mountain. They were shot either by machines or possibly by a human killer.

(see pics)

About the lore message. I’ll try to find a reference to “Suicide”. Let you know if I find something.

Edit: I could not find any reference to a suicide so far. Maybe the wording was different, I mean without using the word suicide. I am curious what that could be.

In the category "The type that is a specific person (they have a name) "

There is a case of a killing, that might be a suicide, although I do not see why he would do that. I believe he was murdered. I am talking about the Commander Of Muskudden Port Complex
He was disgruntled about how the evacuation went, and blamed Holberg for not sharing important information. He then had David a Private, help him bring supplies to a cave, which would be a good starting point for resistance if the evacuation went bad.

It is there where we find the commander dead with a single shot to the head.

It would help if you could remember more to find that information.

There is the fact that the badly wounded uncle Calle decided to suicide bomb the big FNIX cannon.
