Did anyone else notice that the level cap is no longer 31? I gained 8k experience while doing base defense and the bar filled up! Also, I can pay 5 uranium and reset my skill points!

Its not meant to be there, its something that managed to get through with the base assault Hotfix on PC Gamepass/ MS Store back on Thursday i believe, or was accidentally put in on Friday judging from the discord.

Uh, ok so I created a new microsoft account so I can play until the devs fix the game.
Looks like they remade the start of the campaign too!

Why would you think you need permission. This forum is for showing stuff you find and discussing it. I can’t remember if this was in the game before, I only remember that some types of tutorial pics were in the game.
If you are in the logging camp barracks, that drawing is not there in my present game.

There’s also a bunch of other stuff that got accidentally added to the game on Gamepass. Control Points in the Farmlands and new NPCs in the Archipelago intro missions, for example.
Do you mean control points with the icons?
I found i think 4 new spots in Farmlands that seems to be prepared for control points, but no icons.
Found such spots in other regions too.
That would mean that if people do not start a new game they miss out on potential lore. That can’t be right. Can you tell more about these NPCs, are they significant lore-wise, do they have names, is there text that they say?

And there’s a new NPC in the mission Sanctuary at Iboholmen Church (however it’s spelled lol) named Theresa that apparently you hear talking or yelling or something from the starting house in Yttervik. Then you follow her to the church and have to make a first aid kit for her. I read somewhere else that there was also a new NPC in the Archipelago Warboard bunker as well but I don’t remember where I saw that.

I am assuming that the FL control points aren’t active yet.
When I look at this log picture it seems that they not only added 6 more objectives, but also changed the mission item. Cant know from this picture what the item was and the text with it.
This is the old mission item:

Hey Captain! That might, or might not, be a little rework intended for the next update. Would be cool if we tried to keep the spoilers to a minimum! 
To weigh in on the question, it is as Indominus-J is saying, a little version error that happened with the latest hotfix for Win10 Game Pass players, enabling these players to see some stuff they were not intended to.

Can someone please explain to me how this content keeps getting in here? Aren’t these files checked before they leave the , the thing?
Some stuff can be in the build but not activated and other times there can be a version error, where a version with new features gets uploaded, like in this case.
Regardless of the fact it was unintended, seems to me there’s going to be some interesting stuff coming
As long as it’s just interesting stuff and some major bugfixes and not more and more issues…

Oh no.
If that’s true, then another of my favorite places for great battles against fnix and or soviets (or just watching them killing each other) will be removed due to a control point: lilla hammarnäs.
If they are going on changing the game that way, then almost every good spot for random massive battles will be gone just because of this base stuff.
Base assaults and defenses are cool, some more than just the homebase are good for some variety. But 1-3 for each region in total would have been enough.

I must have my battles, that was one of the best parts of the game! Having 4 Wolves VS 3 Tanks ans 2 Harvs was so amazing!
