Why people use bugs on this game? ( making themselves easier)

I have nothing against using trainers and cheats as long as they are not used in multiplayer, what each private (single player) does is not interesting for me and it is not my business whether he/she uses a cheat/trainer now.
Playing alone, I don’t care about using them, not in multiplayer because everyone should have the same chances.

Just keep in mind that in Generation Zero singleplayer is multiplayer - mode just without other players. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

That is the problem with a game like GZ, a lot of the one that use cheats/mods/trainers have that same mindset. A lot of players that want to cheat in a game feel it is their right to cheat and anyone that gets upset about it should not join/host a public game.

The other day I informed two players that I didn’t allow cheats in my game. While I was taking the steps to kick them and close my game to the public, I was told I shouldn’t have my game set to public access. In their mind I was at fault.

And its true, you should not have your game set to public.
I dont like trespassers, so mine its always off.
If you want to play co op do it with friends, otherwise its random, where you could get :

  • Cheaters
  • idiots
  • people that really suck
  • little kids
  • actual good players
  • really good players

By the way, the way i see it cheaters need to be careful with their exploits and cheats otherwhise their game could crash in a game like GZ.

Thank you for pointing out the mindset I was referencing to. Players that just want to have a clean game should do so in privacy so as to not interfere with the dishonest cheaters that just want to exploit the game.

My theory is that cheaters get bored with their “private games” and want to show the public, open co-op game players, what they can do. All the friends have seen, use them already, so find others to entertain with those exploits. Even if they are not entertained, the cheater is by their reactions. Which causes them to exit the game or kick you from their game. Either way, it ruins their experience of playing co-op.

Yes.
That’s it.
Cheaters cheat themselves in first step and then others, because they get overwhelmed or bored with games. Then it’s fun again for some moments, but gets bored soon again. This is the point where they use their tools and skills for cheating against others, because reactions don’t get bored as fast… There are just too many in the www.

Poor cheaters. But no reason to give up and let them reign over our games.

P. S. That’s to no one personally. That’s just for the drawer. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Actual nonsense statement right here bro on god for real.

I would like some thousand island with my word salad please.

Not even mentioning how GZ is ACTUALLY a sp game with mp as an option…

Why is that your opinion?
Could you explain that?

  • Because it has a story? Checked
  • Because the game is over after the story? No
  • Because you have to set your game to “invite only” or play offline to be safe for playing alone? No
  • Because you don’t play against other players? No

What else could define if it’s a sp or mp game?

Because the statement is nonsense.

It is both MP and SP. Not an MP with an option for SP, because then the phrase “SP with optional MP” is just as valid.

The phrase does not support or state any point. It is just nonsense.

Take it as hidden joke regarding the post above mine.

Sorry, don’t want to explain it at the moment.
Maybe just forgot a smiley…
