A case for vehicles Megathread (collective feature topic)

That is quite revealing, so how is GZ different, something more to it.

‘Grey’ could you expand?, sounds ominous

I will in time, it will need context to back it up.

It’s coming.

I would love to see some more vehicles like for say a salvaged Runner built by some new crafting stations with the upcoming resistance update

merged similar post topics.

That would actually be cool. People have said in the past that horses should be added to the game. I don’t think that would be a good idea, but adding a runner that can be modded to be ridden as a horse would be cool.

It took me a long time to find something that I felt was suitable, could potentially fit into the game, but also has enough of a feature to warrant being there. The hard part is - the long term.

It needs to be something that is not just a vehicle, but a feature within itself. The bikes are great, but only serve 1 purpose, point a to point b. As part of the feature I am doing, I will be showing an idea for a new vehicle that I hope you will all take a look at.

Vanguards Vision drops same time as Resistance to Xbox.

maybe some vehicle with a mortar with exremly rare ammunition so the vehicle woulnt be overused but whould be great for a big attack

Well, I’ve got the mortars covered

What do you even mean?

Don’t reply to users posting spam, guys. If you see a someone posting a nonsensical reply and/or a commercial link, flag their post immediately. In this case, it was a bot, which has now been banned.

Despite the bot’s nonsense, I do agree with it to some degree. The game might benefit from a multi role vehicle that does more than just peddle. Awkwardly, at that.

hello dear developer I read your comment on the site for ideas to improve generation zero this is what you can put a craft plan for a 4x4 that would be used for this moved faster which will bring it closer to the content of the 90s which would be useful to gather the players I give you my idea of useful addition and thank you to you

Hi,

I guess I know what you wanted to ask for, but to be sure I like to say that there already are three different drivable vehicles.
A blue one, a red one and a green one. Each with two wheels and a maximum speed (without tricks) of about 42 mph… Or was is km/h?

You can use a ring and a light while driving.

That’s pretty much and enough, don’t you think so?

Time to revive the vehicle thread. Moved topic.

With the new base building and the base defence update coming,
vehicles capable of carrying a full crew and materials would be the an ideal match IMO. It would allow for excursions to stock up on and make the base far more useful than living nomadically between towns and safe houses. Even some basic cars or ideally something capable of off-roading would be great.

I don’t know if I like the idea.

It would of course be great to have a car for up to 4 persons. One driver and 3 passengers who are able to shoot out of the car.

There could be limited fuel and no armor. The car should not have more health than all the other cars around. It should be exactly like one of these with 4 doors.

In the back there could be something like a plundra. A shared local storage where you can save items in and which lasts as long as the car is intact.

The car should be refuelable and repairable. If it gets destroyed, the items in the storage get lost.

And because it will be destroyed very fast and very often I don’t know if it makes sense to have one.

Maybe the Wolf can be hacked and players then can drive the Lynx it carries with the host of the map the only one that sets way points for the Wolf to transport the Lynx to it. If the Wolf encounters hostiles, then it auto stops and deploys the Lynx that has players in them. The Wolf then helps fight all hostiles but if the Wolf is destroyed the Lynx are also destroyed. Players would have to protect the Wolf or lose mobility.

Since the Host of the game controls the Wolf, the host can add upgrades to the wolf and lynx so it can stay in battle longer. The host would also have to have a specialist skill set that has the wolf hacking skill, otherwise no hacking of the wolf.
Guest players cannot hack wolf on hosted game but can share resources for upgrading wolf.

Some of the upgrades for the Wolf could be armor shields for repelling hostile fire, gun mounts for players to stay on the wolf, but the wolf does not go into attack mode/stance when encounter hostiles. Tracking radar so host can pick waypoints to travel to. And so on.
