what about coors light?
Haven’t seen it, is it a beer
it’s a beer, my cousins seem to like it, I don’t mind it but I don’t like it enough to drink regularly.
to put it in perspective, I would rather drink mountain dew than Coors light
Who from you knows this coke. It is very popular in Germany and the teasers from Charles Wilms where ecxiting new in the seventies.
This is the one Cola what is produced in germany.
sexy-mini-super-flower-pop op-cola That was the advertising teaser at this time.
Or who knows this one. It was a very beloved lemonade and remains me of my childhood.
Afri-cola?
It´s made on Germany instead of somewhere in Africa?
But why?
Imagine a cola being made in South Korea and called “Berlin cola” or “Colorado cola”
So weird
a better question, why is it called cola?
where did the word Cola come from??
coca-cola would have to be named after something?
From Wikipedia:
When launched, Coca-Cola’s two key ingredients were cocaine and caffeine. The cocaine was derived from the coca leaf and the caffeine from kola nut (also spelled “cola nut” at the time), leading to the name Coca-Cola.
This is something my cousin makes.
In Poland we call it Bimber. In the language of Shakespeare it’s called Moonshine.
Usually 55-60% alcohol, made of… different fruits… whatever is lying around at the moment
Yes, I know… those are some very patriotic polish glasses
Okay, @0L0, I’ll take the bait
THAT IS NOT POLISH GLASSES That is a Danish glass flanked by two Norwegian glasses
Cheers mate, and we love Poland too
Lovely
Wonders of the Polish countryside
That is a spirit what is well known in germany. We call it here “Obstler”.
The Afri Cola was first produced in 1931 in Cologne by Blumhoffer GmbH what was foundet in 1864 at the Holzmarkt in Cologne. The name “AFRI-” and the Palmtree in the label should express the exotic of the Lemonade. It has nothing to do with Africa.
Good clarification.
Do you think the taste is better than Pepsi or Coca Cola?
That i can not really say. It tastes lightly in an other way than coca cola or pepsi cola. It has more caffeine and it is not so sweet. Try it
Personally i like it and I drink it sometimes when i get it.
I “can´t try it”.
It´s not sold here.
Or else I would try many of the drinks people have been showing over here .
Oh that’s sad but maybe you will come some day to germany and then you have the chance to try it. Or pherhaps there is a Lidl or Aldi Market in your town maybe they have some german articles. And I think where the tourist spots are. In spain i had found it in a beverage market.
We have Lidl and Aldi, but those brands are not available…(I think).
Next time i go to one of those I´l search for german beverages.
