DLC Mission not triggering on PC

I just installed the DLC Alpine Unrest and the Mission “Not Alone” is NOT triggered. Lennarts Marin is no longer a save house either, but I still can get inside to access the storage box. I have finished all missions of the main game (last one yesterday).

Same here. Installed the update, bought the DLC, now I can’t fast travel to that safe house. It shows on my HUD when I approach, but I can’t unlock it as a save point, and I can’t seem to trigger the “Not Alone” mission so I can access the boat and the new island. I’ve completed all missions on the main island.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Potential workaround:

No DLC mission after installing Alpine Unrest

Hi all

We are still looking into what caused the issue. In the meantime we have a potential workaround that you could try.

Player A = Owns the DLC and is not affected by this issue (e.g. fresh save, or not completed intro missions or never visited forest region), does not have the “Not Alone” mission unlocked

Player B = Affected by the issue (can not unlock “Not Alone”, the first DLC mission, by entering forest region or completing intro missions)

Player A: Host a session

Player B: Join player A’s game

Player A: Start the mission “Not Alone” by traveling in or out of the Forest Region

Player B: Exit to the main menu and continue in single player

This could potentially start the mission “Not Alone” for a player effected by this issue.

Thanks a bunch. Your workaround was successful. Everything works for so far.
And I am really happy with how Himfjäll turned out. There are still bugs, my game crashed now twice in the middle of things. But I do now want to linger on the bad stuff but instead congratulate you and the Avalanche team on the design of the new DLC. So many interesting spots to visit. Plus, it all has a more urgent vibe to it which I really like.
