FYI, I submitted a ticket to the generation zero support.
Long story short, this is the answer “Unfortunately the issue you’re experiencing is linked to the performance capabilities of the Xbox One.”
Ultimately, I kept getting error messages trying to load the save files on Xbox. The message said I had to clear my local save files, after I did this, there is an error saying that my save could “could not sync”. In other words, after many, many hours of playing, my save was gone.
I have exactly the same problem on my Xbox One (original). Whichever direction I try to enter Ostervik from the game crashes and dumps me out only a few streets in.
Yea, the game has been crashing on me at random. Mostly it happens in the Forest region (I’m guessing Ostervik, as everyone else has been saying. there is SO MUCH urban area in the Forest Region.) but I HAVE had it happen to me close to the buildable base as well. I play on a basic Xbox One (not S or X) and the game is installed on an external drive.
I have tried multiple ways to resolve this issue from reinstalling to only run my xbox one on the WiFi yet the game crashes all the time in this area some times steaight away some times 5mins in. This also has the same effect with the people i play with. Any ideas or help would be much appreciated as. I have 2 boss bots in the area an un able to get to them.
Designed for the last gen? But the game as been release in 2019 and there is no X/S on the icon game that it mark it as a X/S game… And the dev are already working on it but its look like that they need more time to solve it. And in my first statut I precise that the game are on xbox one.
Some games has a S/X marking in the Xbox store. These games are “optimized for S/X”. As I have understood this, they will run last an current gen Xbox, but “better” on current.
Yes, indeed it should.
But if not, one should say which type of console he/she has, as it is possible that the problem is because of a special specification of one console type or version for which the game could need an optimization.
So I have been also recently experiencing this bug whenever we go to ostervik. It seems to be only that city my friends and I crash, My friend crashes more then I do Though I get lucky sometimes. I don’t crash but my fps will be so low as if it’s trying to load something and it’s struggling lol. my frames wind up looking like it’s in slo mo more then anything.
I’m on the old gen Xbox one X and he’s on the Xbox one S, this is a problem on my ps5 too !
Ps. There’s a Weird graphical glitch that makes what ever I’m holding into like a emp or battery on top of whatever consumable I’m using!
If your save file is older than the updates it causes the game to crash constantly, even on multiplayer. You might have to delete you old save files and start again. I had to and it stopped all crashing issues for me. I’m on Xbox One S.
Hi my XBox series x crashes all the time. I can’t even play the game now. The game was great until the recent update then it went to crap which is a shame coz it’s a good game.
Im on Xbox one anytime I have a big fight as soon as I go to lot any of the enemy the game crashes. I’ve already tried starting a new character as well as wiping all save data and starting brand new. Also already reinstalled the game
People buy consoles precisely to avoid dealing with “performance capabilities”.
