i also keep crashing every 5 to 10 min ill go fight an enemy ill crash ill go loot crash ill go ride bike crash they really needa fix the crashing issue also my save file got corrupted…idk what to do
I am unable to fast travel to any resistance bases along as not getting any rewards for destorying fnix bases with a friend on there world which sucks because it really makes it hard to grind resources together as well as even play together. Not only that but the game keeps crashing so much now that is starting to make it unplayable as well as us wasting ammo on things we dont get to kill because the game crashed.

if you’re in the companion inventory while it is looting you crash
if it loots something while switching tabs in you inventory you crash
if you loot the same enemy as the companion you crash
if it loots too far from you, you crash
medic -
not 100% on this one but my friend crashed when it tried to heal them without any healing items in its inventory
spotter - (not a crash but it will try to spot enemies way out of the fight, eg: fighting a tank at airfield, it will run to the other end to spot a runner)
spotting an enemy with binoculars at the same time as the companion and you crash
and using binocular spotting on an enemy the companion already spotted can crash you (subjective)
no module - (had no crashes so far but a few bugs)
companion shooting walls
companion getting stuck
companion not moving out of barbed wire
companion not shooting enemies
companion teleporting
companion causing fps drops

I am experiencing several crashes in a very short time since I purchased the “Companion Accessories Pack” content and I think I know what the reason is.
It is possible to replicate the problem by equipping the partner with the Loot mod, eliminating numerous enemies and coincidentally, between the player and the partner, looting the same defeated robot.
It has already happened to me several times and I am almost sure that the game crashes for this reason
I am a Steam user:

solo play
I guess it’s related to an already known issue they even mentioned in the patch notes:

On the other hand, I just wanted to help, this problem was affecting me very closely.

yep mine crashes as well. only when companion deployed.
Surely should have been tested before release?

I started playing this soon as it came out on xbox
First of all multi-player crashes repeatedly, Spawn… Crash, Event Happens… Crash, Join friend… Crash, Riding a bike… Crash, Literally ANYTHING I DO CRASH
The only time it runs decent and dosnt really crash is when your by yourself but then the game is unbearably difficult
I have endured so much pain and crashes in a single day, at lest 20 (and this is no exaggeration) times a day, all I ask is for the dens to forget about making new stuff and focus on fixing what crashes the game, it makes it almost unplayable at times

Yes. I too wish they would focus a little bit more on this issue instead of add-ons or anything else for awhile. I play with a friend and after all the crashing he is ready to quit. I’m trying to keep him into it but it’s getting difficult.

Deployed pet runner and friend deployed her pet runner, both equipped with ballistic armor, rocket launcher and spotter module, my friend was hosting the session, any time we entered combat one of us would have a game crash, if I crashed my friend would still see me in her game and my pet, if she crashed I would still see her in my game and her pet, we tried only having the hosts pet out but the same happened as soon as we entered combat one of us would crash. Its frustrating to say the least, reminds me of when the motorbikes were released, we dont use those now, so it was pretty pointless buying the dlc, I hope its not the same for the runners.
Restarted my game and now I do not have a dog at all, tried to go to a repair station at the airfield and my game crashed.
Restarted game again and the dog is back, but we cannot play together we just keep crashing when combat starts.

**Description: Playing Multiplayer with 3 friends, after a short time the game will crash with the error GenerationZero_F out of the 4 of us playing 3 have crashed on a regular basis. think it may be error ( CrashRptVersion=1403 ) any help to fix this issue would be great cheers.

After the last update everyone is having this issue. They’re working on a fix. Hopefully soon.

Yup. They’re working on a fix.
I’ve cleaned up a bit and moved all reports to this thread. This is now the main thread for covering the crashing related to the July Update. All future reports will be merged here.

Game crashes to dashboard after a few minutes of mulriplayer.
This started direcrly after companion update.
Same rhing happened after vehicle update, but now it crashes everytime multiplayee session is started.
Yup. Hoping they fix soon or I feel the community will diminish. If you can’t play coop in a multiplayer game 🤷
