Guess where it is? (refering to recent tweet)

Yes, that was kind of tricky, because the door is open already. So there isn’t really a need to close it if you are exploring the house, and miss out on discovering a really neat door design. Only in this case it was needed!! :point_left: :grinning:

And I thought it wouldnt be that challenge as we were talking about finding a certain house in boo in an other topic… And you know, I’m not often in the game any more.

Nevertheless, a good feeling that you had fun with this

@Kimosabe_X
That’s how we originally started. Pictures made with photomode, so without a hud, but also without any sort of equipment which disturbs the beautiness of the pictures themselves.
With this one, although it’s surrounded by walls and a roof, I loved the lighting.

Btw did you ever try to use a RC Tick and then switched to photomode? I’ll have have to try that. I wonder if the mode will take the Ticks or the characters perspective.

I found another one on Ostertörn.
A different shape, but constructed with same materials.

Greetings

P.S. and not far from there is just another one of this type.

That looks pretty much like somewhere in Hagaboda !?

I primarily use photo mode via the remote-controlled Tick, as it allows access to its unique perspective! It’s ideal for capturing wide-angle shots with your character gloriously centred!

Pro tip: Tilt the Tick’s camera upwards before entering photo mode, then adjust the pitch slider to remove the Tick and its antenna from the frame. This results in a much cleaner image without the Tick being in the shot (or his antenna!).

I’m still searching for that bloody door, but I’m determined to find it!

Maybe, but it’s the wrong region in that case.

Btw.

Took some more nice shoots on my nightly trip through Ostertörn. After fishing in the moonlight

I went somewhere else far away and found something, I believe I’ve never seen before there. A prototype Harvester on Aspholmen.

After I found a vraken in a tank

I came to a place where I suddenly heard a strange sound… I looked up and saw the missile starting and exploding… And then how it fell into the sea. I’ve never seen that before. While doing the last mission long time ago this scene somehow was skipped for me. :face_holding_back_tears:

As far as I know that scene is started everytime you pass over that bridge. I saw it many times.

Yes, I found several brick houses in the big towns, but none of them were alone, like the one in Arneröd. This one however, seems not to have a mix of brick and wood walls, like the others.

Now this is very interesting! Hopefully you are talking about the rocket that tried to launch in Aspholmen? What an excellent vantage point to witness that part of the mission. I’m going to start a new world and attempt this myself to get a photo. For the longest time, I’ve wondered how @Gysbert managed to map the two rocket debris that fell into the sea. I’ve tried observing from the shoreline and even spent quite some time diving into the ocean to locate where they landed, but couldn’t find even a bolt!

I’m surprised it never occurred to me to simply reset the mission and watch the sequence unfold from a different location. The idea that you can actually see them fall is fascinating. That must have been quite a moment hearing the unusual sound, big explosion, and final descent into the sea.

@Gysbert : I missed this scene entirely too during my original playthrough, perhaps I was too busy fighting. But I can’t believe I’d miss something that epic. I’ll certainly make a point to revisit it though.

Excuse my ignorance @Madchaser but can I ask what a Vraken is?

That’s how I found it that fast. I knew you were in Boo and surrounding areas, and I guessed right.

:grinning: that’s a Jet fighter plane you can find all over the game world.

Ok, it’s in the southern part of Lilla then. North of your fishing point…

That’s correct. :+1:

Here’s a strange Garden Bench placement. :coffee:

Ok, I started my investigation now.

What do we see?

  • There is a lake north of you.
  • There is a farm north east of you.
  • There is a safehouse south east of you.
  • Wood

What we have
There is one location on the map (in my eyes) that could fit in my eyes, but @Gysbert your map seems to be incomplete in that case. I’m not really sure.

At the place the arrow points at the position could fit.
There is a farm nearby. There is also a church nearby, which in general are safehouses, but on your map it isn’t marked as safehouse. This is what I’m not sure about. There is a lake and much wood. And there is no other location as close nearby, that it should be seen on the compass, too, which isn’t always easy to find.

Good deduction, but there is another place that would fit even better. :sunny:

About the safehouse Icon, I somehow must have lost it. I will fix this, later today, and upload the fixed map to Google drive.

You’re right.
I was confused about all the other stuff shown on the map.

I can see you do not verify your guess, but there is still a better place…

Ok, that’s more difficult than I thought.
I’ll have to validate the locations in game.

One more thought to my observations: the wall and the hedge look like they could belong to a churchs ground.
