Yeah, when I had to destroy every active FNIX base I turned to WeMod for help, and just out of curiosity I activated Mega XP. Numbers went really fast in those 3-4h
Can you fill in a value for n as an example and check and show? Because I keep getting negative values with this formula.
Wait a minute.
It isn’t possible to get negative values, because the first part is the sum of all numbers from 1 to n, the second part subtracts 10% of the same value and at last everything is multiplicated with 21.
(((100 x (100+1))/2)x100)-((((100x(100+1))/2)x100)x10/100)x21
= (((100x101/2)x100)-((100x101/2)x100)x10/100)x21
= (((10100/2)x100)-((10100/2)x100)x0,1)x21
= ((5050x100)-(5050x100)x0,1)x21
= (505000-505000x0,1)x21
= (505000-50500)x21
= 454500x21
= 9544500
Thanks. Problem I had, is that if I want to enter the formula “(((100 x (100+1))/2)x100)-((((100x(100+1))/2)x100)x10/100)x21” in my scientific calculator it gives a negative number as result. The same if I do it on my PC.
Do you have a scientific calculator? then try to enter your whole formula with parentheses as given on your post. I suspect it will also give a negative result.
It needed two more parentheses. This is the right formula ( (((100 x (100+1))/2)x100)-((((100x(100+1))/2)x100)x10/100) )x21
You’re right.
Proved it with excel now.
Just built the formula out of my mind and obviously forgot these surrounding brackets.
But at the end the formula is what @AliasDJA told, but doesn’t work compared to the real values out of the game.
Still it’s interesting to try to find out what algorithm is used, or at least come near it.
I was surprised that @AliasDJA has already had 5K per slot on a much lower level, and what that would mean. I’m playing on Solo and Adventure, maybe there is a different value multiplier if played on Skirmish or Guerrilla. I am now starting on the next level, and I will try to tally the first slot as well.
It’s a very confusing one for sure, especially with 30’s all circa 3k a bar, and 40’s parallel with 4k bars.
The base XP is always calculated per machine, so sadly difficulty wont multiply the level, but it is reminding me of the Level 22 spike on the original 31. maybe, just maybe the latter block of the last 20 per 100 level drops xp bar progression numbers - or even drops down from maybe Level 60, 70, 80 etc back to lower level XP bars.
I’ll keep an eye on the 60’s @Gysbert, suppose we will see when you hit 90’s if it drops back further
Gonna be a long crunch, but the base 100 should be a laugh to reflect on.
Maybe that’s the solution:
Max XP lvl 31: 548.874
Max XP lvl 10000: 698.378.874
Differences:
lvl: 9.969
XP: 697.830.000
697.830.000 / 9.969 * 21 = 3.333,333 (per slot)
That would mean, that the average XP per slot after lvl 31 would always be about 3.333, as you experienced.
That’s a great conclusion. I will keep registering up to level 100 to see if it stays that way.
But that still means that if we level up one level a day, it will still take 10000 / 365 = 27.39 years to reach max level.
Weird. Why is there a jump back at lvl 39->40?
But that is only if there is no bugs or glitches that come along and erase it all, you start over.
If that happens I just enjoy another game. But it won’t.
@AliasDJA I reached level 94 today and I still get a progression slot value of 3.333 XP
Are you still getting higher values?
I update the list of value above.
Yeah still mid 5k per bar into level 56 now
Which difficulty?
Did you already say that?
I guess Gysbert said he plays on adventure in general.
Would be really weird if the lower difficulties would need less xp for levelup.
Only play adventure, as said - all machines have the same base XP regardless on how much ammo you waste destroying it.
I stopped actively levelling up after I reached level 101. The Conclusion stands that after level 31, each progression slot is ~3,333.333 XP. This was a fun experiental exorcise.
Thanks for all all who participated.
Not quite, I’ll send you what I was sent.
