May 25 2023: Tactical Response Update Discussion

Normally the way you use a radio/boombox is to attract the machines to it. It could be used to attract the machine to a place opposite of the direction you are traveling and needing to escape a battle, so maybe no remote steer. Or easier to lure the machines into a trap.

I must think now at the situation where my mate and me where hiding in a cargo container while about 10 hunters ran around. We managed to kill them with the exp magnus from inside.

But another could be in future that one opens the door, the others drives the rc car out of it and lures the machines away and the first closes the door immediatly again.
Then, after a few seconds, you open the doors again and run away or shoot them in the back with some rockets.

Difficult.
Something stationary.
I guess it’s nothing to hack, jamm or to create sound for attraction.

Another stationary weapon?
Maybe a small “tesla coil”, that generates chain lightnings.

Or just a fog generator?

Il say its a Grenade Launcher auto turret.

There it is. An AA weapon.

I would have found a tesla coil much cooler.
Sneak into a horde of machines with the sensor jammer, place the tesla coil and watch how they all get toasted by chain-lightnings.

But this should be useful, too

Is this really a missile turret or its something else?
This pack seems to be very weird, it should be called the Jamming/Luring purely defensive pack.

While the Homing Turret will prioritise flying enemies, it will also shoot at anything hostile.
So don’t be afraid to use it offensively!

Ok, it shoots on everything with homing missiles, but prioritises firebirds? Or does seeker also count for “flying machines” ?

I’m just checking out if it’s worth using them during base assaults.

How long is it useable? A specific amount of seconds, shots or until it gets destroyed?
Will hostile machines target it prioritised/at all?

I’m unsure on how much I’m allowed to say, but rest assured it’s been balanced and works well in just about any combat situation, with very satisfying performance :+1:

Last one! What could this possibly be?

Ok, as the toy car seems not to be remote controlled but just drives away from you, this one is a real rc tick.
It changes the perspective, so either you control it in first or third person.

But what’s its use? Does it have a bomb or an emp on board?
Is it just for spying or getting through locked doors or too narrow passages?
May it jump or do normally tick-attacks?

“Who´s that Machinemon?”

We need a name for the Tick to differentiate it from others if it has none at the moment,
I think the name “Fjärrbocka” fits.

(Remote Tick)

Its a EMP-Mine Tick with Skateboard.

I have no idea, I can’t make it out, the picture on the left is to complex to figure out, the one on the right looks like maybe a TV remote  not sure, anyways

On the right a RC Car remote

[TACTICAL EQUIPMENT PACK 2]
We're sure many of you already guessed it:
Yes, after this DLC drops in just two days, you'll be able to infiltrate the enemy lines using this Remote-Controlled Tick.
Sneak in, then blow them to pieces! Works fantastically in tandem with a radio lure. pic.twitter.com/3g0VMSh1tZ
