We can name the companion, but we can only choose from a big list. It will be in the form of 3 dropdown lists which you can combine.

If you want a different name you might want to suggest it in this topic. The name should be appropriate to make it to the list. However, there is no guarantee they will be added. But it’s fun to see what names you all come up with. :slightly_smiling_face:

Hunden (swedish for dog, simple, like in TWD series)

L.A.R.S. (lethal automatic recon system)
O.S.C.A.R. (Offensive self controlled armed robot)
M.A.R.T.H.A (Modular automatic recon, transport, healing and attack unit)

There are also some swedish dog races which names could be used (maybe slightly changed) for the machines name of type.

I’m just throwing these into the mix. I’ve always used the gamer-tag of VYNYM in some variation or another. I thought that adding the companion was an awesome idea! I even had a topic on here about it. How awesome and flattering would it be to have it named after me! - But I REALLY don’t expect that! Awesome as it would be and as much as I would love it, I’m just throwing it in there! LOL!

Bella is the name of my daughter! She’s loved this game and wanted a companion since day 1! She also loves animals! To have the companion named after her would be so amazing and she would never stop telling everyone that the companion is named after her! Of course again, not expecting it, just volunteering!

Now I really liked Madchaser’s offer of O.S.C.A.R. The acronym is perfect! So, that’s a vote for that one! :grin::+1:

B.A.D. => Brotherhood of Anarchy and Death
F.A.R.M.A. => FNIX Automated Roving Machine Assembly

Just read the starting post again and saw the screenshots.

What do you mean with “which you can combine”?

Is the name built out of three dropdowns or may we combine it out of those three dropdowns?
I see, it’s almost like with the names of rivals, which seem to be generated randomly from two lists (i. e. [The conqueror] [of Kalleby] ).

I just ask, because it would affect how we should chose the names for the list.

You can combine from each row, so a title 1st row, an adjective 2nd row and a name 3rd row.
But I don’t know if we can also choose from only one row, but I guess we can.

Personally I would choose just a single word for a name.

Ok, another question.
Are our suggestions supposed to get thrown in all three columns or just for the last column?

And it would be good to know if we must select an entry of each column or if we are free to combine 2 or 3 columns or even just select a single value.
