Threads merged. The uh, Tick Gnomes were an accidental addition a while ago, they’ve appeared randomly in the town of Östervik ever since. So they won’t necessarily spawn in the same house twice.

They are call Gnome ticks very rare to discover and you my friend if it’s ok to call you a friend have found one of the rarest Easter eggs in the game so good on you

Make sure you loot the corpses, they have extremely rare loot & cosmetics!

I finally saw the Tick Gnomes last night and I almost screamed, as it was so unexpected lol.

hey found a house who you can not open the Door @ 688.162X51.277 also i enter the house at the sec. floor with a radio jump. I found the dwarf and take him. It was a Bad Dwarf 
good work at this Easter EGG. That was very funny.

Wow. That’s a stroke of luck!
I’ve only ever seen them a handful of times and I have easily spent +30 hrs looking. I must have visited that house 500 times and I’ve never seen him there.

Ran into gnometicks totally accidentally last night. It started at the east edge of Östervik, when I saw a tank that started shooting rockets at me, but my mate I was playing with couldn’t see either tank or rockets (but did see my body flying through the air). Then at one of the eastern houses, he could open the back door (only) of a house, I couldn’t, and inside was a gnometick. It spawned 3, and every time he shot it, it spawned another 3. We did it about 30 times, both got a gnome mask, numerous tick & gnome pods (even though I don’t have the perk), and stacks of advanced medkits. Hilarious!

Ok , just a warning do not look at tick gnomes with the binoculars in tech view if you dont want a crash to happen .

I was lucky enough only once to find a good open gnome spawn point.
After a while I moved on and in a house nearby I found two more, not active, indestructible.

Personally, I haven’t encountered the gnomes at all since my last post. Are they more common on specific platforms, i. e. PS4 vs PC?

From the posts I’ve seen it seems they’re more frequent on PS4 than Xbox or PC. I’ve spent 100s of hours actively looking on XB1X and have only found them a handful of times. (Usually resulting in a crash within minutes.)

I just don’t care anymore, running through town from time to time decimating tanks and harvester.
Maybe some day they will appear, or not…

So… How exactly do you guys find these “gnomes”?
Are they any different from normal ticks ie do the make sounds?
What is the best way to search for them, is there any way to effectively search for them?
[edit] where’s the best place(s) to look for them. Are there any places the show more often?

Ostrevik is the most common place that they spawn .
