Assignments not tracking or refreshing. Unable to get new dailies

I did that. No change in Assignment status (still 0/10).

Not sure if anyone else is still having this issue. It started up recently on my PS4 - maybe 4 weeks now. It is very frustrating, particularly on some assignments requiring Apocalypse Class tanks and harvesters. But it happens with TVs, clothes, ticks and others. It pretty much happens on all assignments in the past week.

I’m running the latest update of Gen Zero and the most up to date OS on my PS4. Single-player mode, not playing online.

Hmm… since lately my assignements don’t track correctly anymore !?

OR maybe they are not described precisely enough anymore and are missing some information ?

E.g. todays assignement “Destroy 10 Ticks”… I picked a fight at Angeräs church to get one or two Harvesters for the weekly assignement, too. That worked out and two military Harvesters showed up next to two Tanks and the usual bunch of Runners and, of course, free roaming Hunters. Plus the Hunter escort of the Harvesters. So all of them went down, two Tanks, two Harvesters, about 12-14 Hunters and about 12 Runners plus a few Seekers and a bunch of Ticks the Hunters dropped around the church entrance. All military class, pretty normal for Angeräs church.

Count for my daily/weekly assignements: 2/10 Ticks… NO Harvesters…

Oh and the 2nd dailiy assignement “Upgrade a pair of shoes…” didn’t work either. I upgraded boots to a higher level, but…

This is totally annoying and I have absolutely no clue what is wrong.

Any ideas about that ?

Edit: while writing the former passage, a 3rd harvester arrived and was turned into scrap metal.

I’m having the same issue with the first aid kid assignment. This game could be so good, but there are so many little things that really f*ck it up. It’s been out since March 2019… and it still has dumb bugs like this. God this game could be great, if they fixed this garbage assignment bug.

The assignment today was to destroy 15 hunters. The weekly assignment was to destroy 20 hunters.

I expect to destroy 20 hunters for both active assignments in total. While after 15 hunters the daily assignment is finished, the weekly assignment needs 5 more.
Nope, you need to destroy 35 hunters for some reason. Both assignments were active in parallel.

I’ve tracked these two assignements, too and they didn’t count simultaneosly…
I tried to kill hunters in smaller batches of three to track it better and it was like, 1 counted for the 15er assignement and two counted for the 20er assignement, next round it was 0:3 and so on…
These borked counters are really annoying, especially when it comes to assignements like “destroy x rivals” !!

So please fix this crap as it is more or less pointless to accept dailiy or weekly assignements right now…

I just started playing again after a break and did notice this, for me, game breaking bug.
It might be not a big deal if it’s about craft X items, but a huge waste of time when you got destroy 20 TVs, which are already rare and if you destroy them, they do not count towards the assignment 80% of the time I destroyed one. Same goes for the destroy 10 military and Apocalypse class machines assignments. Not enough that I can barely find any machines, but if I happen to destroy fitting ones, it’s not counted towards the progress.
On top of that those Halloween costumes have a terrible drop rate for us and every time we play it feels like a huge waste of time.

Please team, fix this soon.

I have been having this issue since the FMTEL stations were introduced.

Platform: PC (Steam)

Description: FMTEL station not tracking missions/tasks as progress is made.

Steps To Reproduce: Accept mission/task from FMTEL station.
Destroy 10 seekers with a melee weapon
Tier 5 sledgehammer used. Killed 2 with the sledgehammer, still at 0/10 after entering/exiting FMTEL station UI multiple times with a ten second wait in between each attempt to allow for refresh.

Has there been any traction on this? I’m having the same type of issue. Played last night, had two tasks:

  1. Defeat a Rival
  2. Defeat 5 Harvesters

Defeated a Rival, and a couple of harvesters, but the tasks did not reflect this.

What’s your status on avalanche apex connect?
Connected, connecting, disconnected,…?

Did you try to delete your apex connect account and then start the game and select stopping the deletion process?

I think you are addressing my question. If not, apologies.

But to answer it - I look at my Apex settings and it shows I am logged in currently.

Are you saying I need to disconnect it, start the game, and then select “no” (or its equivalent) to stop the deletion process in order to fix the issue?

No, I’m sure I answered someone else somewhere else. I don’t know why my post landed here.

I’m not sure if this is what it means by refreshing, but my Assignments tab keeps going down for maintenance. I’ve tried restarting my game, but it seems to be random when it comes back up. Is there a quick fix to get it back up or do I need to wait?

On Xbox I delete the local game save. When I load the game the assignments are there.

On Xbox make sure to fully quit the game from the dashboard and not launch it from Quick Resume. Quick Resume breaks assignments.

Today’s (12/17/22) assignment for killing a Wolf with a melee weapon was bugged for me. I like 6 total with a melee weapon, and didn’t receive a completion. However, during the final fight wtf the 6th one, I also killed one of the Lynx bots with my bat and when it died I got the completion.

This is an issue for me today on the computer. Kill 10 TVs. Done probably 20 and says only 2/10.

the same thing happened to me also, I shoot 10 tvs, I had to stay in game while the assignments slowly gave me credit toward them, but 2 hours later they finally credited, glitch I guess
