Recon Update Issues Feedback Thread

PS4

Frequent frame-rate issues. If you wait long enough the issue sorts itself out, but crashes within a few minutes. Next time I load the game I’m told my save file is corrupted and it successfully restores it. I’m stuck in an endless loop wondering if this is the time I lose my progress.

He’s referring to the time MS (repeatedly) refused certification for a GZ update. It took nearly 7 months for them to get the Xbox version of the Resistance Update build fit for purpose on Xbox.

I just wanted to remember that there is a poll.
Please select, if and on which system the infinite tick and crash issue is fixed or still present for you.

Currently there are just 17 voters in total, one voted for both .
Most voters are playing on steam, the others are split over all consoles. Just ps4 slim and pro aren’t represented yet.

I’ll give my vote after FNIX bases count in my game goes higher than 8… at the moment I have 1.

Did anyone else lose all their progress when the new update came out ?! I lost everything when I updated.

You should create an own topic about that and write some more details (used system,… ).

OK, i didn’t actually had to wait for any FNIX base to appear, because at Balders Vall there was a masive Tick skirmish with basically every machine that was in this area… and there are usually a lot of machines there.

Game crashed. Crash report wasn’t sent because of usual error.

Excuse me Mr_A1992
But I have been playing theses game since I bought it for $31.64 dollars back when covid hit and keep playing it for every day but this updates are taking and not giving anything back

Sorry to bother you but I have just bought the fnix rising pack and a error occurred on my ps4 whilst I was gathering materials for the ringfort mission and when I reloaded the game it said that I had got 2 of the 3 materials but in the log it said I got 3 out of 3 of the materials so now I cannot continue the fnix rising mission I also have proof of this but I took these photos on my phone so they are a bit blurry

Do you have a backup of your safegame in the ps+cloud with a a date before your crash? Maybe you could recover it and try the mission again.

If you’re not able to gather more needed materials, your mission progress otherwise is softlocked and you won’t be able to progress any further.

Btw: it seems that all missions around ringfort are some kind of bugged, aren’t they?

Thanks for your bad vote then…
Game is really “fun” and buggy now.

I’ve not had time for long session but on PS5 it seemed fine apart from safe house issues, I will try Xbox later and see but these reports are making me nervous

I THINK, guessing, most of the crashing issues is guests on co-op play. I know it is for me. I crash repeatedly when join a game but don’t when I host or play solo.

I always play solo on Xboxseries X and it crashes all the time due to ticks. It’s not just on co-op.

Nope, at least not for me. I always play solo and since I didn’t care about the FNIX CPs they summed up and the issues started…

Exactly the same situation for me. I play solo on PC, and I can’t play right now because I can’t do anything of significance without the game crashing.

A while back, when I returned to the game, I was able to play for hours each night! I wasn’t up to speed on everything that had changed since I last played over a year prior, and I kept getting these notifications that FNIX was upgrading bases or something, and I figured I’d get to that eventually - I was just relearning the game still!

Well, here I am now, with a bunch of FNIX bases that cause the game to crash, and I can’t clear out any of them because… the game crashes. So essentially, it’s unplayable for me.

Good gaming!

Zesiir there is a bug with the ringfort and it crashs every time I load in to the game so it is now unplayable

I’ll take video on my phone

Yeah there are all bugged

I just don’t know why they didn’t remove the fnix-bases after the first reports of frequent crashes.

They could have fixed them in the background on a test-machine and we players would have been able to play a stable game.

Then they could have brought them back, if fixed and tested.

The way they went instead, some of us haven’t been able to play properly for month now. Sad, really sad.
